Humanize rewrites text you paste into it. This page explains what we collect to do that and what we don’t.

Your text

We don’t store the text you paste or the rewrites we return. To produce a rewrite, your text is sent to an AI model provider through OpenRouter. Their handling of that request is covered by their own terms and privacy policies. Don’t paste passwords, health records or anything else you wouldn’t want a third-party service to process.

Usage records

For each rewrite we record the date, the voice and length setting, the word counts, and whether it succeeded. We use this to enforce free limits and to see how the product is used. It never includes the text itself.

Signing in

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and we keep them for as long as you have an account. We use them to identify your account and track your daily limit. We don’t send you marketing email without asking first.

Cookies

We set a cookie that keeps you signed in and, before you sign in, a random identifier that counts your free rewrites. We also keep a one-way hash of your network address for the same purpose. Your draft and settings are saved in your own browser so they survive a page reload; we never see that copy.

Deleting your data

Email privacy@humanize.my from the address you signed in with and we’ll delete your account and its usage records.
